*POSTPONED* Friday May 13 Hank-o-Rama XVIII at the Cutting Room. Has it been 18 years already?!? Yes it has and it's just getting better! The creme de la creme, scum de la scum & then some of NYC's honkytonk illiterati join the Lonesome Prairie Dogs in this yearly tribute to Hank Williams Sr on the anniversary (usually) of his untimely demise in the back seat of a baby blue caddy. 44 E 32nd St NYC, times & $$ TBD.  

*Sat June 4th: Serpentones at the Battle Hill Block Party! This yearly event next to Greenwood Cemetary, more or less on the solstice is always an amazing time with some of the craziest entertainment you will see anywhere...and yet, family friendly. Serpentones about 3pm, lots more til just past nightfall. Show up by 1pm, stay til the end you will be glad you did. Beer, BBQ, shenanigans galore and a bouncy castle & other stuff for the small fry. 23rd St betw 6th & 7th Aves, Brooklyn, free (donations accepted).

*Sean Kershaw Trio at Freddy's Bar for MMNY! This citywide (and worldwide) solstice event goes on all day everywhere but you will want to be in South Slope Brooklyn where bands galore will perform incl SK3 about 6pm, on the sidewalk outside Freddy's. 627 5th Ave Brooklyn, all ages, free
